Companies and clients
Cashboard is a pretty decent contact manager in addition to all of the other stuff we do.
Inside the service, you can create Client Companies and Client Contacts. To do this, simply access the Create menu, then select one or the other.
(You can also create both types of clients from the Contacts tab, or by importing a CSV file)
Difference between Companies and Contacts
Cashboard allows you to assign resources (invoices, estimates, projects) to either Companies or Contacts.
You'll want to assign items to Companies if multiple people need access to them. This way you can send invoices to everyone inside a company, or allow all of them to track your progress on a project you're working on.
If you're doing work for just one person - create a Contact and use them as the client instead.
