Auto assign, quarterly reports, site navigation

I've been using Cashboard for 2 weeks now and already am in love with how much more organized and aware of my cashflow it has allowed me to be. Thank you!

A few suggestions from this first early use:
1. It seems jarring and counter-intuitive that the site navigation changes when viewing projects. That is, I can get to reports or the payments screen from anywhere in Cashboard...except when viewing projects. When viewing a project, if I want to view anything in any other category, I have to click the home link and navigate from there.
2. Either having quarterly (as well as yearly) reports or the ability to create and save reports to rerun would be lovely. I'm faking this now via the yearly profit/loss statement, but obviously this means exporting the data to get the right numbers.
3. On a freelancer account, I'd love it if tasks were assigned to me automatically. It feels silly to have to add myself to everything when I'm the only one on the account.

Thanks so much for Cashboard and for reading my suggestions!

    Thanks for the feedback Angelique.

The projects, payments, and invoice screens all do away with the global
navigation so you can focus on your work, and aren't distracted by the
numerous navigation options. However, we are constantly usability testing
and thinking about how to make things more smooth.

RE: Task assignment, why do you feel you need to assign tasks to yourself
if you're the only one on the account? Mainly that feature is for our
customers that use the program with multiple employees.

    Thanks for responding, Seth!

You bring up a good point about task assignment. OCD? Completism? If I don't assign tasks, is there any loss on my end as a user? =)

No, you're not missing anything if you don't assign tasks to yourself on a 1-user account.

You'll be fine not assigning them :)
