U/X frustration from Navigation

Since the updated design was released a while ago, the biggest frustration for me and my team is the fact that I have to constantly click HOME to have access to all my menu options (including Search). What was the reason to have the menu disappear once a user goes into an Estimate or Project, etc? I can't be the only one who is über-frustrated by this?

Anything in the works to have a constant nav for users?

    Thanks for voicing your concerns Corey.

    The change was to lessen the cognitive load on customers who are focusing on managing a project, invoicing, or creating an estimate. Having all navigation options displayed all the time was simply visually overloading some of our deeper screens.

    A handful of customers like yourself have complained about the change and I'm currently evaluating if something should be done about it.
