My invoice number is in light grey making it hard for my clients to see it. How do I make it stand out for them? ie change the color, position

Hi Sherry, sorry about that. We're currently working on some changes that will make configuring the look of your invoices much easier.

In the meantime, what you'll need to do is the following.

    • Under the "Settings" link, click on "Doc Templates"
    • From the right-hand side, click on the template "css_document"
    • On line 36 it reads "color: #ccc;" ... that's the light grey for subheaders

To change it to a darker color, for instance black, remove "#ccc" and replace it with "#000". If you still want it grey but just a bit darker, try "#333" "#666" or "#999".

Apologies again on the difficulty of this. We originally made Cashboard for web developers, and this part of the system is long overdue for a makeover.
