remove online payment option for certain invoices
Hi,
There are some invoices where I do not want my client to have the online payment options (stripe) and other invoices where I do want the option.
Is there a way to turn that on or off per invoice?
If so, please let me know.
If not, please add it to a future update.

No, this is not an option at this time, although a few customers have
requested it in the past.
I'm philosophically against adding complexity to the app where it's not
necessary, so I'm continuing to say "no" to this for the time being. If
you're not familiar with our development process - we say "no" to
everything initially, but routinely listen to customer feedback and
implement changes where we feel they are necessary down the road.

Hi Seth, any update on this feature request. I would like to start your service but this is sort of a deal breaker for me.

I can't offer any promises, and wouldn't want to sell you on something that doesn't exist. It _might_ be a possibility in the future, but if this feature is a deal breaker today I'd say move onto something else.
Currently we're focused on reducing the complexity of the interface, not adding to it.

Thanks for the reply seth. I went ahead and signed up because your service has most of the features I need.
BTW, is there a way for me to invoice someone and charge an additional fee if they pay by credit card? For ex. The invoice is $1000 and if they pay by check its $1000, but if they decide to pay online via my cashboard invoice and stripe it automatically adds on x% to that invoice?
If its not a feature, I would love to see it added in the future.

No, that's not currently an option. Some processors — like PayPal even forbid that for a time. I'm not 100% sure on the rules of it today, but I think they've relaxed em.
If you're so concerned about recovering the fees for online payment, why offer it at all? Seems to me that you really prefer to operate by check payments only, as there's no overhead.

There are certain clients that will only pay by credit card but I guess I will just have to embed the 3% into my invoice. I also prefer not to take credit cards on large invoices. It would have been great to offer the flexibility per invoice but no biggie. I guess its best to get paid faster and pay the credit card fees versus chasing customers down and wasting alot of time and effort.

I’m sorry but we don’t give estimated times for feature additions. We have an internal list of things we’re working on which changes depending on overall need of the entire customer base.
