Saving/using project lists as templates

Hi there,

I was wondering if it's possible to create a list of tasks as a template that I could apply to multiple projects. For example, when a new client emails me, there are tasks I do for all of them which includes consultation, estimating/proposal, follow up, invoice for deposit, etc (pre-project stuff). I don't want to have to create a new list each time. Is there a way around this?

    Hey Krystal,

Create a project with a list of those tasks, then archive it.

From any other project, mouse over it's name in the top bar, which will present you a menu. In that menu is "Import items from another project".

That should get you where you want to go.

PS: You can do the same for invoices and estimates as well.

Just wanted to followup and let you know that we now have a "duplicate" feature for projects, invoices, and estimates that will give you exactly what you want here.

Seth - What if I don't want to duplicate an estimate? I am simply looking to "import items from another estimate" like we use to be able to do. Sometimes we import items from multiple estimates when creating a new estimate, and now it appears we are no longer able to do that? Can you bring it back!? We use it every time we create a new estimate.
    Please advise. Thanks!

    Abigail,

Sorry, but "import items" has been replaced by duplicate. It won't be coming back.
