<p>Keep in mind that you can only create invoices for hours you've
worked.</p>
<p>Cashboard has no concept of hourly "debt" that you describe.
What you can<br>
do is create a deposit invoice for the full amount you'd charge for
100<br>
hours, take payment on that, then apply it to a (separate) real
invoice for<br>
80 hours.</p>
<p>The result is that you'd have one fully paid invoice, and a
credit (in<br>
dollars) for the next invoice you issue to that client.</p>
<p>Deposit invoices are different than real invoices, in that the
money<br>
applied to them can be re-applied to "real" invoices for actual
work<br>
performed.</p>
