Setting Rate

I have not been able to edit my rate. I changed the default task rate under two projects but it's still defaulting to the old task rate when I invoice. I use the timesheet to create tasks and I'm wondering if that could be the problem.

    Hi Geri,

    Sorry you’re having troubles with this! I realize how this would be confusing.

    The “default task rate” only changes the default rate for newly created tasks. It does not adjust old tasks. I suspect that you’re billing for tasks that have been previously set up. To change those, you’ll need to edit each task individually.

    I realize this isn’t the most straightforward way to handle billing, and understand the behavior should probably be changed at some point.

    Hopefully that clears things up — but let me know if you need further assistance.
