Order of invoice entries

When I created my first invoice, I was surprised by the order of tasks entered (or lack of order). So, I played a little with the sample project to determine what would cause the ordering, and it didn't seem to be affected by task creation, closing, time entries.

So, this is my question, what determines the order of the tasks being automatically added to a new invoice? Is there a way to specify the order?

If the answers are unsatisfactory, perhaps a feature of just adding drag/drop of the invoice entries to manually order them would be nice.

    Awww, helps to hit the edit button to get the drag/drop :). I'm glad that feature is there, thank you. I still would like to at least understand the initial ordering that takes place.

    Hi David,

    I believe the order of items added to the invoice should be chronological,
    but not sure 100%.

    However, you already can drag + drop invoice rows while you're editing
    them. The grab handle is the little textured part all the way to the left
    of the row.
