invoicing. I noticed that posting time directly to Cashboard shows
the correct date the time entry was submitted but on all Basecamp
time entries it is always a day behind. Any idea why this would be
happening?

Thanks!

Brandon Ellistag:help.cashboardapp.com,2012-10-23:Comment/306070792013-12-17T19:02:42Z2013-12-17T19:02:42ZQuestion about Basecamp import dates

Hi Brandon,

Quite honestly we haven't updated the Basecamp sync code in
quite some time
so I can't say right off the bat. Are both Basecamp and
Cashboard
configured with the same timezone? I suspect that might be an
issue,
although I'm not sure.

Also, how are you working the integration? Are you using
Cashboard to track
time, then pushing it to Basecamp — or the other way
around?

Seth Btag:help.cashboardapp.com,2012-10-23:Comment/306070792013-12-17T21:08:57Z2013-12-17T21:08:57ZQuestion about Basecamp import dates

Hi Seth,
I've tested posting time directly to Cashboard and it shows a
correct
date/time stamp. Basecamp only shows a date and no time stamp but
both
are at least showing the same date. We are using Basecamp for
project
management and time tracking and my boss uses Cashboard for
invoicing,
pulling in the data from Basecamp. We also make a desktop time
tracking
tool called TimeThis ( http://timethis.merryfools.com
) which I
developed and maintain. Internally I've added Cashboard as
another
supported API and we are currently testing. I'll let you know when
it is
released.

Thanks for the quick response!
shows a day behind — or the other way? I'm still a bit
confused.

Please let me know when your API integration is complete and
we'll blog about it + add it to our integrations
page!

Seth Btag:help.cashboardapp.com,2012-10-23:Comment/306070792013-12-17T21:45:52Z2013-12-17T21:45:52ZQuestion about Basecamp import dates

Hey Seth,
It's Basecamp imported/synced into Cashboard.

Brandon

Brandon Ellistag:help.cashboardapp.com,2012-10-23:Comment/306070792013-12-17T22:07:43Z2013-12-17T22:07:43ZQuestion about Basecamp import dates

OK thanks. Guessing it's just a TZ conversion thing. I'll log it
as a bug
to look at.

Quite frankly, not a lot of people are still using that
Basecamp
integration as it's their older platform. We will take a look at it
when we
get a chance however.

Seth Btag:help.cashboardapp.com,2012-10-23:Comment/306070792013-12-17T22:15:27Z2013-12-17T22:15:27ZQuestion about Basecamp import dates

Appreciate your time Seth, thanks. :)
