Link between estimates and projects

Hello there,

A question about the links between estimates and projects:

When a project is created from an estimate, it automatically includes all tasks listed in the estimate.

Now, if the estimate is modified and additional tasks are created, the project doesn't seem to be updated with the extra tasks and time allocated to them.

So the analysis of the time spent on the project vs. the estimated time does not work.

Is there a way to resolve this problem?

   Hi Gilles,

   When you create a project from an estimate, it copies all tasks over.

   You have 3 options here.

   1. Don't modify your estimates after the fact
      
   2. Manually re-create the added tasks in the project
      
   3. Delete & re-create the project from your estimate
