invoices not resending?
Hi - usually my invoices resend automatically when not paid.
I've been floored with illness for a week and a half (school-aged child brought home the plague) and didn't even notice my invoices didn't resend - thought all three invoiced people must have had a brainfart. just logged in and noticed they hadn't even been resent automatically as usual. I have changed nothing. Anything changed?

Hi Dori, sorry to hear you’ve been under the weather — and hope you’re feeling better this weekend. I looked at two of the invoices you have outstanding, and I believe I’ve figured out the issue with these specific cases.
Our reminder code is dependent on you sending an invoice when it’s first created. If you’ve not sent an invoice previously, the reminder won’t be triggered. I initially made it behave this way to not annoy people with a reminder who might not have received the first notice.
I realize this might be confusing and I should do a better job of making that clear inside the application.

Feeling much better, thanks! Weirdest flu ever - didn't feel "horrible",
just fatigued beyond belief. Was really worried I'd developed an
auto-immune something or other. Very grateful that I haven't.
To clarify, i DID send out invoices on March 12th - but they apparently
never actually sent (though I received a copy in MY inbox, as I always
send them to myself as well). I did it the same way as always, and it's
been a couple of years so I've got it down, lol - but, since the
original never went out, a reminder was not sent, either. Not sure why
it didn't register that I didn't originally send those invoices on March
12th, as I did nothing different - but because CBA didn't "see" that,
the reminder also didn't go out. I had to resend them manually.
WEIRD!
One other question while I have you here - I have a client whose credit
card ceased working with stripe long ago - so she manually pays me with
paypal. Is there a way to set individual payment methods for different
clients?

Dori, not too sure unfortunately about the Stripe thing. There is no way to set other methods of payment within the app, and probably won’t be for the foreseeable future.
