Hi Justin,
I’m unaware of any “weird things” going on with our database — and haven’t heard anything about data loss with time entries from other customers.
If you have multiple employees sometimes time entries can “go missing” by employees deleting tasks. Keep in mind that deleting tasks in a project also deletes all associated time entries. This is most likely the cause.

Thank you for the response, it looks like it was a task deletion. Is there any way to restrict an employee from deleting a task? Also it looks like all of the time associated with a task was deleted even after it was part of an invoice. Is this an intended behavior?

Justin, yes that’s as designed.
The time gets imported onto the invoice as “line items”, so your invoice remains the same.
Unfortunately right now we have no restrictions on task deletion, and no “undo” on for deletions either. Both improvements we’re going to address in the next major upgrade to Cashboard.
