Changing Numeric Field to Text Field

Hi Support Rep:

I created an hourly invoice template for a client and would like to key in the project billing codes in the boxes where the "flat fee" would normally appear. I was able to change the column heading to read billing code, however, the text field is set only to read numbers, not alpha characters. Where can I change the class from "numeric" to "text"? Can I change this in the doc template?

Where can I access "class" settings if not in the CSS document?

    I’m sorry but that’s not possible with our template system. You’ll need to enter your billing codes in the text fields provided. Title or description…
