Hi Cashboard Team:

I am doing my best to prepare a template for billing my new client using the same information they have on their template. One of the pieces of information is the billing period (date range). My initial date range will be for a two week period, and then weekly from here on out. My question is: Is it possible to show the billing date range as a line item in the same area where client info, invoice date and due date appear?

I've explored where you can set a billing range using the {{ invoice.invoice_date | plus_month: 1 }} in dynamic date ranges, would might work if there were a "plus_week: 1" option. Can I make a custom "plus_week" option?

Another way I thought might work is using the import tasks/time entries within a certain range. While this is a very cool feature, I'm not seeing where the invoice clearly states what that range is. If there were a way to show it, that would work too. I just want them to be able to see it separate from the list of projects and time entries as much as possible. Let me know how this can work.

Thanks!
: ) Krystal

    Hi Krystal,

All great suggestions - but as far as I know nothing currently allows this
    functionality to happen.

I'd advise just adding this manually to the "Notes" field of the invoice
    after invoicing.

    Hi Seth,

Thanks for the reply. Is this a feature you may consider adding, maybe
    through dynamic date variables?

    Cheers!

Not at the present Krystal. I have a todo list a mile long, with a ton of other stuff that takes priority. If I had all the time in the world, sure…but sadly I do not :(
