Hello,

I'm facing difficulties when invoicing : I am making a project for a company, and I just learned that I have to split the billing in two different people, that work in the same company. I added those two people and their infos into the company (in the contact section), but then when invoicing (editing the invoice) I can't change the client name, otherwise I lose all the infos regarding the tasks and amounts to invoice. Is there something I don't understand about this function ?

Thank you very much for you help,
Best,
Zoé

    Hi Zoe,

No you're not missing anything. Unfortunately this isn't a situation we accounted for in the design of the app.

To invoice for projects/tasks those items must belong to the same client. You can't work on a project for one client, then invoice & send it to someone else.

    Hey Seth,

Thanks for your answer. Do you have any suggestion on what would be the most convenient way to do this ?

    Thanks again and best,
    Zoé

If you must do this, I'd make two projects for each of the individuals who are your clients - then invoice them separately.

There really is no "better" way to do it.

    Hope that helps.
